I’ve had the J20 for a month now and I’m very pleased.
I’m trying to learn digital photography and also own a Fujifilm Finepix S5800. Also a great camera but too big to throw in your pocket on a night out.
I decided to plow the minefield of point and shoots and settled on the J20. Primarily my decision was influenced by a history of success with Fuji (never let me down!), spec (10MP, adequate zoom & large screen) and cost (£100 will do me fine!).
The J20 excels on all fronts. Even with a small case which you can pick up for next to nothing it esily fits in the pocket, the auto scene option actually seems to work and picture quality is nothing short of superb.
I’m sure there is better for more, there is probably also a lot worse for more! So if you want a solid reliable point and shoot that looks the part, has a battery that doesn’t want to die and above all genuine quality photo’s (after all that’s what it’s all about) then give your £100 to those reliably clever chaps at Fuji and don’t look back.
