OK I bought this camera for my wife to use as a general camera and with the added bonus of taking pictures underwater or in the pool when on holiday. The camera looks and feels good, unfortunately it is let down by the quality of the images. In general use indoors are rubbish, very grainy. I tried various settings and am an SLR user so not some feeble user. Outside the picture is slightly better but even then when you zoom in or blow up the image you can see the grain.
