My reservations about lashing out a large bundle of cash for a camera made me shop around for a long time before I took the plunge. Now I wish I had bought it sooner! The D70s is a joy to use. It is quite heavy, but not unreasonably so, and it is very well balanced with the 18-70 lens fitted.The controls are extensive, but the basics are soon mastered, and then you get the fun of learning all the advanced ones. The quality of the 3000×2008 RAW images is superb, thanks to that great lens – although I am glad I bought the 2Gb high speed CF card. It gives me 330+ images at full resolution. I did worry about the built-in Speedlight, but it is brilliant, and the range of settings is impressive. What else can I say? Buy the camera, read the manual, have fun.
