I purchased this camera as i needed something robust to take on holiday & because of panasonics good reputation thought i would go for it, i was not disappointed, i thought the photos would be exceptable but so far this camera has far exceeded my expectations, for a compact the results are amazing, i also own a canon G10 & the FT1 results are much better, ok its not going to be as good as a DSLR , but ive owned a lot of high end compacts & this beats the lot. if you want a good quality point & shoot this is the one to get.
