Excellent camcorder bought especially for hols in Phuket and Western Australia. Loads of functionality, picture clarity superb, especially impressed with night vision. Very simple to record directly to disc using my Phillips dvd recorder. Playback on widescreen telly was like being back on holiday, really marvellous. Not so impressed with still picture quality on memory stick but just about acceptable considering this isn’t a stand alone still camera. Can’t fault it though for it’s core task – camcorder. I’ve loaned it to my brother in law for his holiday in Florida….I am very worried!!
