I found this camera works really well. The photos are sharp. It picks colours very nicely. Although pictures can be easily blurred by a slight movement but there is a remedy to it. My wife wanted something handy small enough to carry in her handbag. We have a hybrid video/digital cam which is not very small to be carried all the time. emmm yes, a bit of negative. (its with all the Sony’s) Sony seems to love their camera base and would not allow you to charge the camera from either a usb connection or a direct wire. You have to get the batteries out and put in the separate charger. I think they should design something like mobile phones have. Generally good camera.
