Helpful consumer’s review
if you use a Mac computer and want to transfer and edit video from this device forget it. I have owned one of these for a year and it is a nightmare to try to transfer your images to a Mac. What a waste of time I have incurred trying to achieve this. Sony ought to put “Not suitable for mac computers” on the box in big letters, or solve the codec problems themselves rather than leaving customers to try to figure something out.
What a shame the awesome potential of this device will remain under-exploited because of it’s poor compatibility with Apple computers.
